It's always 'ok, we've passed it on' and nothing ever happens.Įlobito a écrit :I was curious about this saga (had always heard good things about it), so yesterday I bought the first three games of the series. You could go rage at Ubisoft support I guess, but I've never had any luck with them, ever. if steam sold games thru origin or uplay and required you to also use steam as well as origin / uplay who would be at fault? It's Ubisoft's for not updating it, Valve probably know about it but they can't do anything about it as it is not their game (makes sense). It is annoying that you need both, but really why can't steam just sell the key and just require uplay? of course ubisoft wants you to use their service, they made the game. It's even more impressive that you can have uplay installed AND even running and steam will try installing it again.
is that really all uplays fault? or steam for not having a correct version?Īll you need to do is uninstall (or skip the install) the version steam tries to install and download the correct version of uplay, or if you already have uplay installed you just stop steam from installing the old version and you'd be all set.
